Friday was the deadline for bills to post a work session in their second chamber. Exceptions are for Joint Committees like Ways and Means, Senate Finance and Revenue, House Revenue, Senate Rules, House Rules, and House Conduct. HB 3957 is the only bill that dropped to the "Inactive" tab due to this deadline. Most of the bills on our list are sitting in Finance and Revenue, or Ways & Means. Everyone is waiting for the revenue forecast this Wednesday 5/14 - so they can begin their final work on getting a budget put together.
